Students will receive a masterclass with one of three world-class jazz musician/educators: Wayne Bergeron, Denis DiBlasio or Tommy Igoe. In addition, each ensemble will receive clinics from our high school and middle school clinicians and you will receive recorded comments and suggestions that will be provided to you right after your performance.
We will provide drums, bass and guitar amps, and vibes. The performance space will have music stands and chairs.
Bands are strongly encouraged, but not required, to stay for the afternoon concert featuring The Pete Ellman Big Band with Wayne Bergeron, Denis DiBlasio and Tommy Igoe. Please encourage your students to clear their schedules for the entire day. The concert starts at 1pm in the Neuqua Vally High School Auditorium.
